Role Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who can do two things really well: translate complex industrial technology into clear, compelling stories and then get those stories in front of the right buyers. You will own messaging for DFX, create content that educates and converts, and run campaigns that generate pipeline for a global sales team.

This is a generalist role with a product marketing spine. You will be writing copy, building sales collateral, running digital campaigns, and owning our content calendar. Over time, you will define and build the marketing function at Altizon.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing & Messaging

  • Own messaging and positioning for the DFX platform across target personas (Plant Head, Operations VP, CIO/CDO) and verticals (beverages, food, industrials).
  • Translate product capabilities into crisp, customer-centric narratives.
  • Lead announcements of product launches and feature rollouts in partnership with Product and Sales.
  • Maintain a competitive intelligence tracker; develop battlecards and objection-handling guides for the sales team.
  • Build and keep current a library of sales enablement assets: one-pagers, solution briefs, pitch decks, ROI calculators, and FAQs.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Own the content roadmap: blogs, case studies, white papers, industry reports, and LinkedIn thought-leadership pieces.
  • Convert technical product input and customer success stories into accessible, high-value content for buyers and practitioners.
  • Partner with the leadership team to shape Altizon’s voice on industrial AI, digital transformation, and smart manufacturing.
  • Brief and manage external writers or design resources when needed.

Demand Generation & Digital Presence

  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns (email, LinkedIn, SEO/SEM, webinars) to generate MQLs for the sales team.
  • Own Altizon’s website content and SEO strategy; track organic traffic and conversion metrics.
  • Run and optimize LinkedIn campaigns targeting manufacturing decision-makers.
  • Manage trade show and event presence: booth materials, speaking submissions, pre/post-event outreach.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales to understand pipeline blockers and build assets that accelerate deals.
  • Partner with Product to feed market and competitive insights into the roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to source proof points and case study narratives.
  • Track and report marketing KPIs: MQLs, pipeline sourced, content engagement, website traffic, and campaign ROI.
What We Are Looking For
  • 1–3 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, industrial tech, IoT, or manufacturing software.
  • Proven ability to write compelling content: product narratives, blog posts, case studies, sales decks.
  • Experience with product launches, sales enablement, and messaging frameworks.
  • Hands-on with digital channels: LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, email marketing (HubSpot or similar), and SEO basics.
  • Strong project management skills. Comfortable owning multiple workstreams and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving startup.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Experience marketing to manufacturing, operations, or plant-level buyers.
  • Familiarity with IIoT, MES, SCADA, or industrial analytics concepts.
  • Experience working in or with a startup / Series A–B stage company.
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mixpanel) and basic design tools (Canva, Figma).

Overview As a Digital Transformation Implementation Engineer – Industrial Automation & OT Integration, you will own end-to-end rollouts of Altizon’s DFX Platform at customer manufacturing sites. This is a plant-first role: you start on the shop floor, assess the OT environment, define the data acquisition strategy, and drive the deployment through to a live, validated solution. You will then deliver demos, run training, and ensure plant teams are fully enabled. We are looking for someone with 3–5 years’ experience spanning industrial automation/controls and manufacturing IT/OT — equally comfortable in a noisy production environment and in front of a stakeholder audience. Extensive travel to customer sites is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plant Assessment: Conduct plant walks to map production lines, machine types, control architectures, and site network topology (OT/IT segmentation, connectivity to edge and cloud). Produce a Site Assessment Report with a recommended rollout approach.
  • Data Acquisition Strategy: Evaluate PLC/SCADA environments and determine the right data path — OPC UA server configuration, gateway bridging, historian extraction, or other methods.
  • Implementation & Integration: Configure DFX solutions across the data pipeline (acquisition → processing → visualization). Integrate with PLCs, SCADA, historians, and machine interfaces via OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, and REST.
  • Validation & Troubleshooting: Define and execute data validation protocols. Troubleshoot issues across edge, network, and cloud layers. Own go-live readiness and hypercare.
  • Stakeholder Enablement: Deliver on-site demos to plant managers and sponsors. Run operator and supervisor training sessions tailored to shop floor context.
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain site notes, network diagrams, and runbooks. Work with CSE and product teams on escalations and feedback. Support pre-sales RFI/RFP responses.
